SIXTY-TWO : SOPRESSATA WITH PROVOLONE SANDWICH

FANTASTIC!!


Not much to say except... BEST. SANDWICH. EVER.
It's amazing how big of a difference quality ingredients really make. It's an incredibly simple sandwich; just ciabattta bread, a drizzle of olive oil (optional, but I chose to do it), 2 oz fresh sliced provolone cheese and 2 oz $30/pound sliced sopressata.

So. Good. The soprassata is rich and flavorful but not at all greasy. Balanced perfectly with the subtle provolone on a nice chewy ciabatta roll, with the olive oil adding a little moisture and earthiness. I am making this again, and again, and again!
